We wanted to share some quick videos from a recent tournament some of our students participated in recently. They fought hard and bravely. It takes a lot fo courage to enter the ring for any sport.

Lets put our hands to together to cheer our very own instructor Nefeli. She has accepted the invitation to join the team that represents the United States for the 2018 Pan American Championships. The tournament was be held on the weekend of April 20th. Below are a few photos from that event.

She has also been invited to the COUPE CANADA CUP held on the weekend of June 29th. With every open competition and invitation Nefeli competes in, her fight to reach the 2020 Olympics gets closer.

The 2020 Olympics will be held in Tokyo, Japan. Instructor Nefeli is actively working towards her dream to qualify for the Olympic Games in Judo. She is ranked #1 in the US and #17 in the world for her weight class. Donations are currently being collected to help offset traveling expenses as she competes in the Pan-American Open in Santo Domingo, European Open in Serbia, and Grand Prix in Zagreb to achieve the required qualifying points. Lets help her reach her American dream and grant our country the ability to be represented by the best in our nation! For more information to give a donation, please CLICK HERE.

We will be hosting a series of self defense seminars to help fund Nefeli's path towards her dream to reach the 2020 Games. Why not join in the effort to help a Lake County, IL local and actively learn some defense moves while having fun.

We would like to thank Westosha Dojo and Sensei Rhett for hosting Nefeli's clinic on Saturday May 5.  We would also like to thank all the students who signed up for the clinic.  We have added a few photos from the clinic.

All events for our and other Dojo's will be promoted here for all to view. As with any other sport, there are times of low activity and times of high activity. Please come back to check as we add these as they come up.
